Yacht Description
"Patriot" is a beautifully appointed yacht and although this boat is a 1997 model she has been in caretaker status since new and débuts for her first full sailing season in 2005.
She is perfectly equipped for the charterer who values spacious/airy accommodations as well as a high performance cruiser. Her interior is beautifully finished in cherry with a teak/holly sole. She has 13 opening ports that provide excellent ventilation as well as two additional sky lights to keep the interior filled with light. The galley comes equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, two burner LPG stove and oven, and Corian counter tops. The head is also equipped with Corian counters and a full stand-alone shower that is rarely seen on boats this size. Her aft queen berth is spacious, that can easily accommodate 6' plus sailors. Both the forward V-berth and aft berths have spacious storage, making settling in a real pleasure.
As a performance sailor, "Patriot" has an unstayed mast that is rigged for simplicity and performance. Sailing her is a true joy, as she is equipped with all top of the line Harken gear and Raymarine Electronics including Autohelm. The mainsail is fitted with UK Sail's Integrated Lazy Cradle / Sail Cover and can be hoisted using the electric winch. If you are looking for a truly "Gourmet" sailing experience in a boat that can easily sail at 8+ knots then the "Patriot" is the boat for you.
Charters can enjoy the beautiful view from the Pikes Bay Clubhouse with full access to all amenities including use of, private bath/shower rooms, laundry facilities, game room, ships store, big screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen.
