2010 :: Leap of Faith Sailing Trip
Join mountain climber Lori Schneider as she facilitates the first 'Leap of Faith Adventure' trip with a sailing excursion here on Lake Superior.
Last year we told you about an exceptional woman that was attempting to complete her dream of summiting the highest mountains on each of the seven continents by climbing Mt. Everest. With great admiration, we're pleased to say Lori Schneider did summit Everest in May 2009 and became the first person diagnosed with MS to do so.
Through her company, Empowerment Through Adventure, Lori is inspiring and motivating others to push beyond their fears and accomplish what may seem impossible. We're excited to be partnering with Lori to provide an opportunity to a limited number of women to participate in the first 'Leap of Faith Adventure'. Join Lori this spring as we set sail on a voyage to explore our dreams, challenge ourselves and hear first-hand from Lori more about her journey.
The adventure begins Friday night aboard the luxurious 49' Jeanneau, 'Sanctuary'. We set sail Saturday morning for a night at anchor in the Islands returning to harbor Sunday night. The rate is $1995 per person and includes accommodations on 'Sanctuary' Friday, Saturday and an optional Sunday night, Friday night wine reception and all meals through lunch on Sunday. Previous sailing experience is not required, but all will be encouraged to participate in all aspects of the voyage.
